COMMON QUESTIONS

Shift began in 2011 as an idea; a vision that was stirring in the hearts of a small group of University students. The dream was to inspire their Christian friends to take the hope of Jesus into every part of society and in so doing, transform culture. They first gathered on New Years Eve in 2012 to pray, worship and surrender themselves to how God might want to use them. Shift was born.

Since then, we’ve grown in many ways but our heart hasn’t changed.
Our vision still remains, ‘to see our generation captivated by God and impacting culture.’

Our mission is therefore to serve the church by resourcing radical followers of Jesus to be a redemptive presence in the world; embodying the presence of Jesus and restoring the image of God everywhere they go.

We challenge and inspire people to overcome consumerism and be the servants the world needs, modelling the upside down kingdom in their families, neighbourhoods and workplaces.

100% you can! Day tickets for the Saturday are available for £80 which includes all the content, unlimited tea & filter coffee, lunch and dinner, and evening entertainment if you’re able to stay for some bandaoke (think karaoke but with a live band) as well as a boogie.

We provide plenty of space for camping as well as onsite toilets and showers in the price of the ticket but if camping isn’t your jam – no judgement, there are other options in the local area such as Air BnBs, hotels and BnBs should you wish to stay off site.

We pride ourselves on good food and cater for all dietary needs. When you book you can just let us know any requirements you have via the registration form.

We want Shift to be an alcohol free space so ask that people attending don’t bring alcohol on site. We will be offering alcohol free drinks in the evenings but should this present any sort of an issue please let us know at info@shift-uk.com

If money is any part of the reason for you (or a friend) not joining, please let us know at info@shift-uk.com

We don’t want money to ever be a reason for people not being able to come to Shift so if you feel you are able to pay it forward so that others can come, we’re so grateful. You can donate here.
